Prime Minister Narendra Modi, in a powerful speech today, accused the Congress party of fostering division within the tribal communities and treating states as financial assets for their political gains. Addressing a public gathering in Maharashtra, Modi expressed his concern over what he described as Congress’s longstanding approach of prioritizing power over people’s welfare.
Modi’s remarks came as he highlighted the historical actions of the Gandhi family and the Congress, which he claimed have consistently impeded the progress of marginalized communities, including Dalits, backward classes, and Adivasis. “For decades, the Congress has exploited these communities, using them as mere vote banks while stalling meaningful development,” he asserted.
The Prime Minister underscored the substantial support the BJP-led alliance has garnered in Maharashtra, citing numerous development projects as tangible proof of his administration’s commitment to uplifting all sectors of society. “Our vision of ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas’ has translated into real progress, unlike the hollow promises made by the opposition,” Modi stated.
In a pointed attack on the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA), Modi labeled the coalition as the “biggest khiladi in corruption,” alleging that their governance had been marred by unethical practices. He emphasized that the BJP’s leadership offers a cleaner, more transparent alternative, committed to public welfare and development.
In his speech, Modi also showcased key initiatives launched by his government aimed at empowering tribal and disadvantaged communities, emphasizing that these programs are steps towards inclusive growth that the Congress allegedly failed to implement during their tenure.
This latest address is part of Modi’s ongoing campaign to solidify support ahead of upcoming elections, positioning the BJP as the true representative of progress and unity, while painting Congress and the MVA as parties of divisive politics and corruption.
