During a rally in Jammu and Kashmir, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi launched a fierce attack on Prime Minister Narendra Modi, claiming that the Prime Minister is “psychologically finished” following the recent Lok Sabha elections. Gandhi asserted that Modi has lost confidence, a situation he attributes to the growing unity within the opposition under the INDIA bloc.
Addressing the rally in Sangaldan, Banihal, Gandhi criticized the central government, accusing it of being run by Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, and a few wealthy corporate allies, whom he referred to as “A1” and “A2,” insinuating Adani and Ambani. He argued that the policies of GST and demonetization have hurt small businesses, serving only the interests of these billionaires.
Gandhi also lamented the abrogation of Article 370, claiming it was done to benefit these corporate entities and accusing the government of neglecting Jammu and Kashmir’s youth, who face the highest unemployment rate in the country. He vowed that the Congress party would restore Jammu and Kashmir’s statehood, which was revoked by the Modi government.
This rally is part of Gandhi’s campaign for the upcoming Jammu and Kashmir Assembly elections, which are scheduled to take place later this month and in October
