According to the BJP, essential items such as beds, sofas, air conditioners, and even water taps have mysteriously disappeared from the bungalow at 5 Deshratna Road, Patna. This bungalow is now set to house the current Deputy Chief Minister, Samrat Chaudhary.
The controversy erupted when Chaudhary’s personal secretary, Shatrughan Prasad, inspected the property ahead of Chaudhary’s move. He was shocked to find that a long list of items, including over 20 split ACs, hydraulic beds, sofa sets, and kitchen appliances like refrigerators and water purifiers, were missing. This sparked a public outcry, especially as such items are considered standard fixtures in a government residence of this stature.
What makes this story even more sensational is the allegation that even gym equipment and badminton court mats were taken.
