The air pollution crisis in Delhi has once again reached alarming levels, turning the national capital into a virtual “gas chamber.” As of today, many areas in Delhi recorded an Air Quality Index (AQI) well into the ‘severe’ category, with locations like Anand Vihar at 473, Dwarka Sector 8 at 458, and Jahangirpuri at 471. The persistent smog and toxic air have led to widespread health complaints, particularly among the elderly and children.
AAP’s Measures and Claims
The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has attributed the worsening air quality to external factors such as stubble burning in neighboring states and shifting weather conditions.
