Vivo is set to launch its first ‘Ultra’ smartphone, the Vivo T3 Ultra 5G, in India on September 12, 2024. This marks the brand’s entry into the Ultra segment, bringing premium specifications to the T series lineup. The phone will feature a 6.78-inch curved AMOLED display with a resolution of 1.5K, offering a smooth 120Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of 4,500 nits, which ensures excellent viewing even under bright conditions.
Under the hood, the Vivo T3 Ultra will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9200+ processor, coupled with up to 12GB of RAM, with an additional 12GB of virtual RAM available. This setup is expected to deliver robust performance, with benchmark scores reportedly surpassing even those of Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processors. The device will house a 5,500 mAh battery, supporting 80W fast charging, allowing for rapid recharges.
Photography enthusiasts will be pleased with the dual-camera setup, featuring a 50MP Sony IMX921 primary sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS), and an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens. The front camera will offer 50MP, making it ideal for high-quality selfies and video calls.
The smartphone will also come with an IP68 rating, ensuring protection against dust and water, and will be available in Lunar Grey and Frost Green colors. Pricing is expected to start at ₹30,999 for the base model (8GB RAM/128GB storage), with the top-end version priced at ₹34,999 (mint)(Finance News).
